- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the pork shoulder with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the pork shoulder in the pressure cooker.
- Pour in the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, and brown sugar.
- Close the pressure cooker lid and set to high pressure for 60 minutes.
- Let the pressure release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release.
- Shred the pork using two forks.
- Serve the pulled pork on buns with your favorite sauce and sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can marinate the pork shoulder in the seasoning for a few hours before cooking. This pulled pork also freezes well for up to 3 months.
