This Pressure Cooker Pulled Pork is tender, juicy, and full of smoky barbecue flavor, perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or as a main dish. Ready in half the time of traditional slow-cooked pork!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Season the pork shoulder with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the pork shoulder in the pressure cooker.
  • Pour in the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, and brown sugar.
  • Close the pressure cooker lid and set to high pressure for 60 minutes.
  • Let the pressure release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release.
  • Shred the pork using two forks.
  • Serve the pulled pork on buns with your favorite sauce and sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the pork shoulder in the seasoning for a few hours before cooking. This pulled pork also freezes well for up to 3 months.
