A creamy and delightful fall treat, this Pumpkin Maple Whip combines the rich flavors of pumpkin and maple with a hint of spice, perfect for a cozy dessert or festive occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

For Topping:

  • Whipped cream
  • Additional cinnamon or maple syrup

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare Cornstarch Mixture:

  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water. Stir until smooth and set aside.

2️⃣ Combine Ingredients:

  • In a medium saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until heated through.

3️⃣ Add Cornstarch:

  • Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

4️⃣ Whip Cream:

  • In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

5️⃣ Fold Mixture:

  • Gently fold the cooled pumpkin mixture into the whipped cream until well combined.

6️⃣ Chill:

  • Spoon the whip into serving glasses or bowls. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

7️⃣ Serve:

  • Before serving, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of maple syrup.

Notes

 

For extra flavor, add a few chopped pecans on top. This whip is perfect for a cozy fall dessert or a festive holiday treat!
