Description

This Root Beer Float Pie combines the classic flavors of a root beer float with the creamy richness of vanilla ice cream in a graham cracker crust. It’s an easy, no-bake dessert that’s perfect for summer or any time you want to enjoy the nostalgic taste of root beer and ice cream in a fun new way.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 can (12 oz) root beer
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  • Allow the vanilla ice cream to soften slightly for easier mixing.
  • Slowly pour the root beer over the ice cream, and gently fold the two together until well combined. Be careful not to let the root beer fizz too much.
  • Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust, spreading it out evenly.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the pie is set and firm.
  • Serve slices with a dollop of whipped cream on top, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can sprinkle a few crushed graham crackers or chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream.
  • This pie can be made ahead and stored in the freezer for up to 3 days.
  • Use root beer float-flavored ice cream for an extra burst of root beer flavor.
