Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet fajita seasoning
- Flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese
Instructions
- Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the flank steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
- Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced red and green bell peppers and onion. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Slice the Steak: While the vegetables cook, slice the rested flank steak thinly against the grain.
- Combine Steak and Vegetables: Add the sliced steak back into the skillet with the cooked vegetables.
- Season: Sprinkle the fajita seasoning over the steak and vegetables. Stir to combine, allowing the seasoning to coat the mixture evenly.
- Serve: Serve the sizzling steak fajitas on warm flour tortillas, with optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or shredded cheese.
