- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Fried Cabbage:
- 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- For the Wings:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the chicken wings in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry wings in batches for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- For the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:
- Boil potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
- Mash potatoes with milk, sour cream, and butter until smooth.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- For the Fried Cabbage:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add shredded cabbage and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Season with caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
